Technical Resources for Ready Mixed Concrete Producers:

The CRMCA offers a variety of environmental permitting information for both CRMCA members and non-members. This information is state-specific to NC or SC. This information can be found in the menu bar on the right.

The CRMCA also provides it's members with weekly "Safety Notes" which may be obtained by contacting the CRMCA office. Safety Notes are emailed monthly by request only. To be added to our monthly distribution list for Safety Notes email bowen@crmca.com.

Technical Services for CRMCA Members:

The CRMCA offers conventional and pervious concrete pavement design assistance to CRMCA-member ready mixed concrete producers, associate members and member concrete contractors. This includes both parking lots and streets and local roads. CRMCA members looking for assistance with providing recommendations for converting asphalt parking lots or roads to concrete are able to take advantage of in-house engineering design recommendations at no cost to the members.

The CRMCA offers a wide-variety of FREE technical and educational services for local architects, engineers, landscape architects, contractors, construction managers, owners, developers and government entities. These services include the following:

Life Cycle Cost Analysis (LCCA) workshops

- Included in your Workshop are the following items: a life-cycle cost analysis for your project, copy of the NRMCA Concrete Pavement Analysis software, ready-to-use “standard” Auto-CAD® details, an industry standards update, copy of ACI 330, copy of ACI 522, copy of the PCA Pervious Concrete Pavement Hydrological design software (if applicable)
Technical education for designers (through the CRMCA's Continuing Education Program)
- The CRMCA offers over 20 different presentations on a wide variety of concrete topics. The presentations can be modified to fit your particular agenda or interest and are offered in lengths of 1-4 hours. The CRMCA is an NCBELS approved provider and offers NCBOLA-approved courses. Due to the cost of participation, the CRMCA no longer offers AIA CES courses, however, we will assist AIA members with obtaining the necessary information for self-submission.
Rigid pavement design seminars
- The CRMCA offers half-day concrete paving design seminars. These seminars are targeted to those individuals looking to learn more about designing rigid pavements. - The CRMCA understands the importance of having a trained, professional concrete contractor place and finish a concrete pavement. Unlike many other building products, with concrete, you get only one shot at getting it done right!
